People's Park
People's Park sits at the heart of Shanghai, adjacent to the bustling Nanjing Road. Dating back to the early 20th century, this park was once a private garden and has since transformed into a key urban oasis for locals and visitors alike. Spanning approximately 68 acres, it features tranquil paths, open grassy areas, and several ponds, providing a perfect spot for relaxation amidst the city's pace. As spring blooms, visitors can enjoy the sight of various flowering trees, including cherry blossom and magnolia, which typically peak in late March. Within the park, there are numerous activities including tai chi sessions in the mornings, traditional tea houses, and cultural exhibitions that showcase the city's vibrant heritage.
