Zoological and Botanical Gardens
Zoological and Botanical Gardens, situated in the heart of Hong Kong's Central district, has been a cherished urban oasis since its establishment in 1871. As one of the first zoological and botanical institutions in the region, the gardens house over 1,000 animals and showcase more than 1,000 species of plants. The sprawling grounds stretch over 5.5 hectares, providing ample space for visitors to explore exotic flora and fauna, including the popular giant panda exhibit. Particularly vibrant from March to May, the gardens come alive with blooming flowers, making it an ideal time for nature lovers to visit.
