Majorda Beach

  Majorda Beach lies on the southwestern coast of Goa, nestled between Betalbatim Beach and Betula Beach. Historically, this beach is known for its connection to the Portuguese, who used the area for agriculture and trade as early as the 16th century. Today, Majorda Beach serves as a tranquil space for sunbathing and water sports, with its inviting stretch of sand popular among both locals and tourists. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, which spans approximately 25 kilometers, or try their hand at paragliding, especially between November and February when conditions are ideal. It’s also a great spot to witness local fishing activities and perhaps even spot some migratory birds in the nearby wetlands.
