Hanging Gardens
Rising above the bustling streets of Malabar Hill, Hanging Gardens, officially known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, was established in the late 19th century. This terraced garden spans about 60,000 square meters and offers a serene escape amidst the city’s vibrant chaos. One of its most notable features is the collection of over 1,500 unique plant species, including several ancient Banyan trees shaped into intriguing forms. Open daily from early morning until sunset, visitors can stroll along the well-maintained pathways, enjoy picturesque views of the Arabian Sea, and relax on benches surrounded by lush greenery. Don't miss the strikingly designed hedges and the iconic flower beds that provide a delightful burst of color.
