National Zoo
Nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the National Zoo (Zoo Negara) spans over 110 acres along Jalan Titiwangsa, providing a spacious home for a diverse range of wildlife. Established in 1963, it was one of the earliest zoos in Malaysia and has since become a vital center for conservation and education. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring more than 400 species, including the intriguing Malayan tiger and the playful giant panda. Open daily, the zoo often hosts special events in the months of June and July to engage families and visitors alike. Beyond observing the animals, guests can enjoy interactive experiences, such as feeding sessions and educational talks, making for an enriching day out.
