The Merlion Sentosa
The Merlion Sentosa stands at the entrance of Sentosa Island in Singapore, welcoming visitors with its iconic half-lion, half-fish figure. Erected in 1997, this version of the Merlion is 37 meters tall, making it a prominent landmark and symbol of Singapore's maritime history. Visitors can ascend to the viewing deck located inside the Merlion for panoramic views of Sentosa and the South China Sea. From January to March, special light displays illuminate the structure, adding to the nighttime experience. While you're there, enjoy the surrounding lush landscaping and take memorable photos with the stunning sculpture in the backdrop.
