Banpo Rainbow Bridge

  Rising over the Han River, Banpo Rainbow Bridge connects the districts of Seocho and Yongsan in Seoul. Opened in 2009, this bridge features a unique water fountain system that releases around 190 tons of water per minute, creating a visually captivating spectacle. Primarily designed for vehicle and pedestrian traffic, its iconic LED lights illuminate the water installation, particularly during shows that take place from April to October, drawing both locals and tourists. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the nearby riverside parks or capture stunning photos of the light displays in the evening. One of the bridge's main highlights is the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, recognized as the world's longest bridge fountain, spanning approximately 1,140 meters.
