Gyeongbokgung
Gyeongbokgung sits at 161 Sajik-ro, in the heart of Seoul’s Jongno District. Dating back to 1395, it was the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty and is known for its impressive architectural style. One of its main features is the Gyeonghoe-ru Pavilion, which extends over a picturesque pond and serves as a venue for royal banquets. If you visit in October, you can enjoy the beautiful fall foliage surrounding the palace grounds. Visitors can also explore the National Palace Museum of Korea and witness the changing of the guard ceremony, making Gyeongbokgung a vibrant and historical site to experience.
