Haneul Park
Haneul Park, located in the Mapo District of Seoul, offers a refreshing green escape with stunning views of the city skyline. Established in 2002 on a former landfill site, this park spans over 1.3 million square meters and showcases an array of native grasses and wildflowers, including 100 varieties of plants. The park features a walking path that rises 600 meters above sea level, providing visitors access to panoramic vistas and tranquil spots for relaxation. Open year-round, visitors are particularly drawn to the park in October when the silver grass fields are in full bloom, creating a unique landscape. Here, you can stroll, enjoy cycling paths, and immerse yourself in nature while spotting various bird species that inhabit the area.
