Benchasiri Park
Benchasiri Park sits at the bustling heart of Bangkok, nestled near the Emporium shopping complex in the Khlong Toei district. Established in 1992 to commemorate the 60th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, this urban oasis spans approximately 24 acres. The main feature of the park is a peaceful lake surrounded by jogging paths and well-maintained gardens, making it a popular spot for both exercise and relaxation. Throughout the year, especially in December, visitors can enjoy vibrant flora, including various species of flowering plants. At the park, you’ll find locals practicing Tai Chi, families picnicking, and a diverse array of bird species flitting about, adding to the lively atmosphere.
