Chiang Mai Zoo

  Chiang Mai Zoo sits at 100 Huay Kaew Road, right at the foothills of Doi Suthep mountain. Established in 1977, it has become home to over 400 species of animals, including giant pandas and various types of reptiles. This zoo primarily serves as a conservation and educational facility, showcasing the region’s diverse wildlife. From February through June, visitors may enjoy special events accentuating the vibrant flora of the nearby botanical garden too. Guests can explore interactive exhibits as well as take guided tours, making it an enriching experience for families and animal enthusiasts alike.
