Big Buddha Mountain
Big Buddha Mountain, also known as Khao Chi Chan, is situated in the Sattahip district of Pattaya. This significant landmark features an impressive golden Buddha image that measures 18 meters tall and 14 meters wide, which was completed in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne. Visitors flock to this site not only to admire the serene statue itself but also to explore the surrounding gardens, which are adorned with various local flora. The best times to visit are from November to February, during the cooler months in Thailand. While at the site, guests can take in panoramic views of the countryside and snap photos of the expansive golden engraving across the mountain.
