Promthep Viewpoint

  Promthep Viewpoint sits at the southern tip of Phuket, offering one of the island's most well-known panoramas. This site, which has been a favorite among locals and visitors since the 1980s, serves as a picturesque lookout point over the Andaman Sea. The viewpoint features a large white lighthouse, standing 18 meters tall, which adds a distinct character while also serving as a navigation aid for passing ships. Visit during the evening hours, particularly in January or February, when the sunsets create a stunning array of colors across the water. Visitors can enjoy various trails leading to the viewpoint, explore the nearby souvenir shops, and take in views of small islands scattered along the coastline.
