Tao Dan Park

  Tao Dan Park sits at 1 Phan Dang Luu in District 1, right next to the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Established in the early 1990s, this green oasis spans about 10 hectares, making it a significant recreational area for both locals and tourists. The park is particularly recognized for its diverse collection of around 1,000 trees, showcasing traditional Vietnamese flora, including the impressive banyan trees that provide ample shade. Though it buzzes with activity throughout the year, early mornings and late afternoons in December are perfect for enjoying the gentle sun and fresh air. Visitors can engage in yoga classes, watch local tai chi gatherings, or simply stroll along the winding paths while appreciating the park's tranquil atmosphere.
