The Powder Tower
The Powder Tower, located at Namístí Republiky, is one of Prague's original city gates, built in the late 14th century. This historic structure is 65 meters tall and offers a stunning view of the city from its observation platform. Once used for storing gunpowder, it now serves as a reminder of the city's past and a popular spot for photography. Visitors can explore the intricate Gothic architecture and learn about its history through informative exhibits. The tower is open year-round, but exploring it in the spring, particularly in April, offers a chance to enjoy the blossoming trees nearby.
