Wenceslas square
Wenceslas Square sits at the heart of Prague, within the historic New Town district. Built in the 14th century, this vibrant hub has played a key role in the city’s modern history, from demonstrations to celebrations. Stretching about 750 meters long, the square is flanked by shops, restaurants, and notable buildings, including the National Museum at its northern end. In December, the square transforms into a festive market filled with traditional Czech food and crafts, creating a lively atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the square, taking in the sights, or learning about its significance at various informational displays.
