Schloss Benrath

  Built in the 18th century, Schloss Benrath is a former summer residence located in the southern part of Düsseldorf, specifically in the Benrath district. This beautiful Baroque palace, designed by architect Nicolas de Pigage, served as a retreat for Elector Palatine Johann Wilhelm. Its main feature, the expansive gardens, spans over 60 hectares and showcases a variety of flora, including numerous rare species. Visitors can explore the gardens year-round, but the most vibrant displays occur in April and May during the blooming season. Inside the palace, guests can admire exhibitions that delve into the history and art related to the region.
