Mendelssohn-Haus
Mendelssohn-Haus stands at Goldschmidtstraße 12 in Leipzig, serving as the former home of the renowned composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. Built in 1845, it is notable for being the only surviving residence of the composer, who played a significant role in the Romantic music movement. Today, Mendelssohn-Haus operates as a museum dedicated to his life and works, offering visitors a glimpse into his world through exhibitions and musical events. From April to October, the museum hosts special concerts and programs that celebrate Mendelssohn's compositions.
