Frauenkirche
Frauenkirche, also known as the Church of Our Lady, rises prominently in the Altstadt-Lehel district of Munich. Dating back to the early 15th century, it is instantly recognizable by its twin onion domes, which reach a height of 98 meters. The church serves as a symbol of Munich and an important spiritual center, housing significant artworks and a stunning interior, including the famous Gothic stained glass windows. Visitors can explore the church year-round, but it’s particularly lively during Advent in December when it hosts festive services. As you wander through, don’t forget to look for the "Devil's Footstep," an intriguing feature with its own legend just inside the entrance.
