Tierpark Hellabrunn
Rising along the banks of the Isar River, Tierpark Hellabrunn in Munich is a unique wildlife park that integrates the natural landscape into its exhibits. Established in 1911, it was one of the first geo-zoo concepts, where animals are grouped according to their geographical origin. The park spans approximately 40 hectares and showcases a diverse range of over 750 species, including the majestic Siberian tiger and the agile lemur. Open year-round, visitors can enjoy various seasonal events, particularly the charming winter lights festival in December. Stroll through its pathways to connect with wildlife and explore the meticulously designed habitats that mimic their natural environments.
