Ixia Beach

  Ixia Beach sits along the northern coast of Rhodes, just a short distance from the historic city center. Known for its rocky shoreline and clear waters, this beach has long attracted visitors and windsurfers alike, thanks to the steady winds that make it ideal for water sports. Interestingly, the area was once the site of the ancient city of Ialyssos, which thrived during the Hellenistic period. With a length of approximately 1,200 meters, it offers visitors ample space for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying beachside cafes, particularly vibrant in the summer months from June to September. Along the beach, you can catch glimpses of local flora, such as tamarisks, providing a natural backdrop to your seaside experience.
