Tropicarium

  Tropicarium, nestled within the heart of Budapest at Nagyteteny, is a fascinating indoor aquarium and zoo that showcases a wide variety of exotic species. Opened in 2000, it features a stunning tunnel that allows visitors to walk through and observe marine life such as sharks, which can reach lengths of up to 2.5 meters. Operating year-round, the Tropicarium invites guests to explore its diverse habitats, where they can encounter tropical birds, reptiles, and over 300 fish species. Notably, it is also home to Hungary's only public display of stingrays.
