Giardino Inglese
Giardino Inglese sits at the edge of Palermo's Politeama district, offering visitors a green retreat amidst the urban landscape. Established in the late 19th century, this historical garden once served as a private park for the noble family of the Duke of Montalto. Spanning approximately 11 hectares, it features an array of exotic plants, walking paths, and a picturesque pond home to various local bird species. During spring months, particularly in April, the garden bursts into color with blooming flowers, making it a delightful spot for leisurely strolls or picnics. Visitors can also enjoy several sculptures and fountains scattered throughout the grounds, adding to its charm.
