Terme di Caracalla
Dating back to AD 216, Terme di Caracalla in Rome served as a grand public bath complex, showcasing the engineering prowess of the ancient Romans. This expansive site covers approximately 13 acres and was designed to accommodate up to 1,600 bathers at a time. Visitors can explore well-preserved ruins of the baths, including intricate mosaics and towering brick walls, which hint at its former opulence.
