Amstelpark
Amstelpark sits in the southern part of Amsterdam, easily accessible from the nearby Amsterdam RAI convention center. Originally designed for the 1972 Floriade, this park spans 45 hectares and features a blend of landscaped gardens and serene waterways. Notably, it is home to one of the Netherlands' largest outdoor sculptures, a striking concrete work measuring 15 meters. Visitors can stroll along its pathways, admire the diverse array of flowers and plants, and even enjoy a miniature train ride that operates from April through October. With its open spaces and greenery, Amstelpark is a perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon amidst the bustle of the city.
