Dehesa de la Villa Park
Dehesa de la Villa Park, situated in the Chamartín district of Madrid, is a sprawling green oasis that covers approximately 70 hectares. Dating back to the 19th century, this park was originally part of the estate known as La Dehesa, which served as farmland in earlier days. Today, the park offers an escape for locals and visitors alike, featuring hiking trails, picnic spots, and a diverse variety of plant species, including cork oaks and various types of pines. In the spring months, particularly in April and May, the park comes alive with vibrant wildflowers and the sounds of nesting birds. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls or more vigorous hikes along its well-maintained paths while taking in glimpses of the city skyline peeking through the trees.
