Jardí del Túria
Built on the former riverbed of the Turia River, Jardí del Túria stretches approximately 9 kilometers through the heart of Valencia. This green space, created after the river was diverted in the 20th century due to severe flooding, serves as an urban park that offers a breath of fresh air amidst the bustling city. Visitors can stroll, bike, or jog along the many paths, taking in features like playgrounds and art installations while enjoying the diverse flora, including over 23,000 trees and shrubs. Particularly vibrant in April, the park hosts blooming flowers, making it a lively scene during the spring months. Adjacent to landmarks like the City of Arts and Sciences, Jardí del Túria is a perfect spot for both relaxation and recreation in Valencia.
