L'Oceanogràfic
L'Oceanogràfic, part of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, is the largest oceanarium in Europe, covering an impressive 110,000 square meters. Opened in 2003 and designed by architect Félix Candela, this unique attraction is home to more than 500 species, including dolphins, sharks, and sea lions. It mimics various marine ecosystems, allowing visitors to explore everything from the Arctic to tropical seas. Typically, open year-round, it's especially popular from May through September, attracting families looking to learn about marine life. While here, don’t miss the underwater tunnels that give you a close-up view of the ocean’s creatures gliding overhead.
