Karlbergs slott
Karlbergs slott, situated in the suburb of Solna just north of Stockholm, is a historic castle that dates back to the late 17th century. Originally built as a residence for Swedish nobility, it now houses a military academy, the Swedish Armed Forces’ Karlberg BKS. The notable feature of this baroque-style building is its beautifully landscaped gardens, which bloom with various flower species in the spring months of April and May. Visitors can stroll through these gardens, admire the elegant architecture, and soak in the serene atmosphere of this well-preserved historical site. The castle’s proximity to Karlbergs canal also offers picturesque views, making it a captivating spot for photography enthusiasts.
