Tour de Sauvabelin
Rising above the Parc de Sauvabelin, Tour de Sauvabelin is an impressive wooden tower constructed in 2003 that offers panoramic views of Lausanne. Standing at 35 meters tall, it invites visitors to climb its 302 steps for a unique perspective of the city and Lake Geneva. This tower serves as both a lookout point and a popular destination for hiking enthusiasts. Open year-round, it's particularly bustling in April when the surrounding flora begins to bloom. From the top, you can spot various landmarks and enjoy the sight of the lush forests that are home to diverse wildlife, such as deer and numerous bird species.
