Dolmabahce Palace
Dolmabahce Palace sits along the Bosphorus Strait in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul. Built between 1843 and 1856, this grand structure was the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire in its later years. The palace features a rich blend of European architectural styles, particularly Baroque and Rococo, and encompasses 285 rooms and 44 halls. Visiting in spring, especially in April, allows you to see the garden in full bloom, adorned with various flower species such as tulips and roses. Inside, visitors can explore the opulent rooms, including the famous Crystal Staircase and the exquisite Ceremonial Hall, home to the world's largest Bohemian crystal chandelier.
