Emirgan Woods
Emirgan Woods, positioned along the Bosphorus in the Emirgan neighborhood of Istanbul, is a sprawling green oasis that dates back to the 19th century. This historical park served as a retreat for the Ottoman sultans and is now a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Spanning approximately 47 acres, the woods are home to over 120 species of trees and plants, making it a delightful destination for nature enthusiasts. In April, the park is particularly vibrant as it hosts the famous Istanbul Tulip Festival, where millions of tulips bloom in stunning displays. Visitors can stroll along the well-maintained paths, enjoy picnics, or relax at the quaint cafes that overlook the serene landscapes.
