Sharjah National Park
Sharjah National Park, nestled along Al Mina Street in the Al Gulaya’a area, covers an expansive 630,000 square meters, making it one of the largest parks in the United Arab Emirates. Opened in 1982, the park features a unique blend of flora and fauna, with over 60 species of birds, making it a popular spot for bird watchers. A prominent feature of the park is its 4-kilometer walking and cycling trails, perfect for an active day outdoors. During the cooler months, from October to March, visitors can enjoy picnics at designated areas or relax amidst the lush greenery. Along with vast landscaped gardens, families can find playgrounds and picnic spots, adding to the park's appeal for all ages.
