EMP Museum
EMP Museum, now known as the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), stands at 325 5th Ave N in Seattle's Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. Established in 2000 by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, this innovative museum is dedicated to exploring and documenting contemporary popular culture. The striking building, designed by Frank Gehry, features exhibits on music, film, gaming, and more, making it a dynamic hub for creativity and inspiration. In July, visitors can enjoy special summer events and concerts that coincide with the interactive exhibitions on display. At MoPOP, you can see everything from a vast collection of rock memorabilia to immersive experiences that celebrate the world of fantasy and sci-fi.
