« I want to share my experience about the amazing Phillip Island! 🌊🐧

Phillip Island is a super popular spot for tourists for various reasons. The nature there is unbelievably beautiful, and you can witness incredible sights such as:
- the famous penguin parade 🐧 (I missed the parade, but I did spot a couple of adorable little ones)
- a wildlife park full of animals (it's quite large, and the animals are in environments that mimic their natural habitats)
- a koala center 🐨
- an enormous racetrack 🏎️ (car races happen regularly)
- the Nobbies Centre, where firsthand in 2003 they discovered some spectacular wildlife.

There's so much to write about. To fully appreciate this wonderful place, it's best to rent a car. Especially if you're not alone, it's definitely worth it. You can also use the bus. The average ticket price for each location is up to $30. But in the center, you can see everything for just $13. The costs for parking depend on how busy the site is.

Enjoy your visit! 😊 »

« The prestigious Brighton area, located about 11 km southeast of the Melbourne city center, sits along the shores of Port Phillip Bay. Many of Melbourne's wealthiest citizens reside in this neighborhood. The beachfront properties here are not only privately owned but also include some that belong to the government. Owners are not permitted to alter their properties significantly.

The local council has established strict guidelines for the construction of these private developments to maintain a consistent outlook. The cost for such a development is typically around 300,000 AUD, which is approximately 190,000 USD. 🏖️✨ »

« Today, I had my first experience buying antibiotics with a prescription at a pharmacy. You walk in, hand over the prescription. They note what you want to buy (you actually don't have to buy everything; I needed an antibiotic for $5 and an asthma medication for $66, but I decided to think about the second one). Then, they give you a little buzzer similar to what you get at a food court. You wait. They bring out the medication, explain what it's for, how to take it, and when. There's a sticker on the box with your name and the doctor's name, along with dosage instructions and the date it was prescribed. Everything is packed into a plastic box, which you can only open after paying at the register. By the way, I saw an elderly man who received his pills not in boxes but on a sturdy A4 sheet with bubbles (like a giant blister pack), where all the tablets were laid out for a month. The days of the week were marked from top to bottom, and the time of day (morning, afternoon, evening) was indicated from right to left. Super convenient! »

« We visited Ballarat yesterday to check out Sovereign Hill, the "gold rush" village. We really enjoyed it, even though the entrance fee is about $32. It's the most popular place in Victoria! »

« Welcome to Melbourne! 😊 During a 2-hour and 15-minute stay in the airport parking lot, you'll be charged $29. »

« You can enjoy a lovely boat ride at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne for $25 per person, lasting 30 minutes. »

« Convenient little houses for storing beach gear. $200,000 and it's yours :) Electricity and water supply not installed. »

« Gasoline is a bit pricier here than what I'm used to. It's funny how they display the price in cents, even when it’s over a dollar. 😄 »
