Chinese Garden of Friendship
Chinese Garden of Friendship sits at the heart of Sydney's Darling Harbour, near the bustling Cockle Bay. Established in 1988 to commemorate the sister city relationship between Sydney and Guangzhou, this tranquil space showcases traditional Chinese landscape design. The garden features carefully curated plant species, including 300 different varieties, walking paths, koi ponds, and a stunning waterfall that towers at nearly 3 meters high. Visitors are invited to explore the garden throughout the year, with seasonal events like the Lunar New Year celebrations adding vibrant flair in February. Here, you'll find peaceful spots for reflection, as well as an opportunity to learn about Chinese culture through its artistic elements and native flora.
