There’s plenty of space here in New Zealand, just a stone's throw from Auckland and surrounded by beautiful land, still untouched by mega cities and residential areas.
But when I look at how closely the private homes are situated, I can't understand why they’re built so close together. They’re practically one next to the other! The gaps between them are very narrow, and the front and back yards are also quite small. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s an expensive neighborhood or a modest one; everywhere it’s pretty much the same. I feel like there’s no sense of personal space here 🤷♀️. »
