Cruiser Aurora

  Built in 1900, Cruiser Aurora is a historic warship docked on the Neva River in Saint Petersburg, just a short stroll from the Peter and Paul Fortress. This iconic vessel played a pivotal role in the 1917 October Revolution, famously firing a blank shot that signaled the storming of the Winter Palace. Today, the Cruiser Aurora serves as a museum where visitors can explore its decks and learn about its storied past. From May through September, the ship hosts various exhibitions and guided tours, providing insights into Russian maritime history.
