Dendrarium

  Dendrarium, situated near the heart of Sochi on the corner of Kurortny Avenue and Nizhneimeretinskaya Street, is a botanical garden that showcases over 1,500 species of flora from around the world. Established in 1951, this expansive 50-hectare park not only serves as a research center but also as a peaceful retreat for nature enthusiasts. One of its standout features is the impressive collection of subtropical plants, including various eucalyptus and palm species, which draw visitors year-round. During the spring months of April and May, many plants are in full bloom, making it an excellent time for leisurely strolls along the winding paths. Visitors can explore the well-maintained trails, enjoy themed gardens, and even catch a glimpse of some local wildlife, such as colorful butterflies and songbirds.
