Nan Lian Garden
Nan Lian Garden sits adjacent to the Chi Lin Nunnery in the tranquil Diamond Hill area of Hong Kong. This classical Chinese garden, established in 2006, was designed to reflect the harmony between nature and architecture, featuring a beautiful 600-meter-long winding path flanked by various plant species, including over 100 different types of trees and shrubs. At its center, visitors will find the striking wooden pavilion, which is constructed without any nails, showcasing traditional building techniques. Throughout the year, the garden blooms vibrantly, but a visit in spring, particularly from March to May, offers the chance to catch the cherry blossoms in full display. Guests can wander through themed sections, explore serene ponds filled with koi fish, and appreciate the intricate stone carvings that line the pathways.
