« The most popular attraction in Delhi is the India Gate. »

« One of the main attractions is the Crawford Market. No, not Cindy. Hindi Crawford – it's tough to leave empty-handed, but you can manage. Since the white folks seem to have money, the sellers attack from all sides, leading you to the farthest corner and trying to make you buy something. Honestly, the primary goal of the average seller is to make a sale. Some even go as far as rapidly explaining in English where you are and demand money for it. »

« The oldest café Leopold in Mumbai has been operating since 1874. It was one of the locations targeted by terrorists during the tragic events of 2008. Also, those into "Shantaram" feel compelled to visit, just in case beauty Karla or Linbaba is still sitting at a table. P.S. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! 😊 »

« Mumbai. To be honest, we didn't pay much attention to the attractions in this city, we were already tired of moving around so much. But we strolled through the neighborhood we were staying in, Colaba. We lived close to the Gateway of India and the famous posh Taj hotel. It's a decent area with many colonial mansions. In the evening, all along the main street, a vibrant market springs to life: souvenirs, clothing, fruits, shoes, and more. 😊 »

« After visiting Juhu Beach, I went to the Krishna Temple called ISKCON. It's a beautiful white temple adorned with figures of Krishna and Swami Prabhupada. I took a photo with 20 local women! Chanted Hare Krishna with others in the temple. I bought the Bhagavad Gita in English and enjoyed some prasadam. Now I’m sitting in a café indulging in an amazing chocolate cake. What an interesting day! 😊 »

« Leopold! A small two-story cafe with a bar and delicious food, located near the Gateway of India, is very popular among well-off locals and tourists (partly thanks to the book). In 2008, it was one of the numerous crowded places in Mumbai that was targeted in a terrorist attack, as evident from the shattered glass and bullet marks on the walls. »
