« Pha That Luang is one of the main attractions in Laos, the most significant architectural monument and a national symbol of the country, which is even depicted on its coat of arms. This Buddhist stupa stands 45 meters tall. Nearby are temples of stunning beauty. Overall, it's a must-visit place for anyone who finds themselves in Vientiane. »

« When we were traveling, we read online that there's nothing to do in Laos. A poor country with no attractions.
We arrived – such a lie!!! The city of Vientiane is fascinating: a blend of Lao and French cultures, and there are influences from Japan as well, creating a lovely contrast between Asia and Europe. The temples are incredibly beautiful – you can't take your eyes off them...
If you've read that something is uninteresting, boring, or that there's nothing to do, then you're reading words from someone to be pitied: they can't see the beauty around them, chasing after tourist fairy tales and missing out on the amazing discoveries of a new culture. »
