Getting Around

On Foot
Walking in Caticlan is completely free and is your best bet for navigating local areas, especially between Caticlan Jetty Port and the nearby market. Just be cautious of tricycles zooming past on narrow roads and watch the traffic during peak hours to ensure a safe stroll.
Tuk-Tuk
Caticlan’s tuk-tuks operate daily from sunrise to sunset, charging around 30-50 PHP per trip, perfect for reaching popular spots like Caticlan Jetty Port. To save on costs, consider sharing a ride with fellow travelers to split the fare, especially during peak hours when they can get crowded.

« I recently went on a diving trip at Boracay, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing! 😍🐠🌊🤿💦 The experience of being submerged underwater is just surreal. As soon as you enter the water, they give you a helmet that weighs about 30 kg, and then you gradually descend to the bottom. 🤯🐠 You find yourself strolling along the seabed, surrounded by beautiful fish, and it’s like stepping into another world! There’s just something magical about being able to explore the ocean while interacting with its vibrant marine life. 🐠✨ »

« Just a note to myself: next time when he says "let’s go to Boracay, there’s a great beach," check if it doesn't fall on the date of the Chinese New Year holiday. 😱😅 We found a hotel just a month in advance, everything was booked solid. I don’t like the heat at the beach, it's just not my vibe. However, the sunset is absolutely stunning. And the warmth is nice! 😊 »

« When you travel to the Philippines, the key is to choose the right time 🗓️. For instance, we stayed there from October to December. If I were to go again, I’d pick the same period. 😄 The weather is generally great, although rain does happen sometimes, but it’s not too frequent. The best part is the lack of tourists and reasonable prices 💪🏽.

When we left (early December), there were already many tourists on the beach, and prices skyrocketed to double. It’s getting harder to enjoy the island since it’s not as easy to find accommodation and prices are biting. And by the way, nobody guarantees that the rainy season won’t overlap with the high season 😤. »

« I’m not a fan of excursions; I prefer independent travel! 😌 This time, we decided to rent a boat to explore the entire island! 😉 It’s such a magical place, with stunning natural beauty all around, and we even managed to find some hidden beaches. 😍👌

But I really didn’t expect our journey to have such an eventful twist—it was quite the adventure! 🙈 Everything turned out fine in the end, though, despite a few surprises along the way. 😂 »

« Paddle boarding is a super popular activity in Boracay. But it's important to paddle away from the shore, as the current can drag you out to sea. Getting back to the beach can be quite a workout, trust me on that! 😅🌊 Fitness goals still intact, though! 😄 »

Just one word - bliss! 🙌✨ »

« Boracay Boracay.... 🇵🇭

Ideal turquoise waters, perfect white coral sands, breathtaking sunsets 🌅, tranquility and peace for those seeking just that.

I'm looking for energy here. Living each day as I would want in my ideal "I". »

« Good morning in paradise 🌴☀️😉
Boracay is definitely 💖🌊
A never-ending, white-sand beach 🌴 Boracay, as clear as the sea 🧊 Palms 🌴 Sand like flour 😍 Perfect for some windsurfing ⛵ Atmosphere 👌🏽.
A variety of cafes, bars, and food 🍝 mmm 🤤 There’s definitely enough nightlife 🎉 Clubs might test you till dawn 😏
I can't even compare Boracay to any other place we've been 😂 It's unique, like no other! And yes, it’s absolutely worth this paradise, for all 😇❗
So I say yes to Boracay, you’ve stole my heart 💖.
By the way, the climate here is super hot 🔥 and humid, in the evening it gets very humid 🤤🌴 I sunburned in just 30 minutes!!! 🍉🤦‍♀️ How I’ll get that tan back, I really can’t imagine... worse than Bali, for real ☀️

« What makes the sunsets at Boracay so special? Perhaps it's the vibrant hues of the sunset that paint the sky along with the silhouettes of numerous boats gliding across the horizon. Thank you, Boracay, for the hospitality! Now we continue our journey and are off to the bigger island. 🌅🏝️😄 »

« The white beach of Boracay Island 🌴🌴🌴 is among the top five most beautiful beaches in the world 😍. »

« Thank you, O. Borakay, for the unforgettable days of the new year. The pristine white sand, breathtaking views, warm colors of the sunsets, crystal clear water, and the best beach I've ever seen! 🌅🌊 »

« Today I started a trip on my bike around the northwest of the island. 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️ The weather is a bit confusing—sunny, then cloudy, and with some rain. ☀️🌧️ I wanted to take some lazy photos of the sandy beach at Playa de Ko Ma, but we didn't get to enjoy it completely. I really don't understand how the beach turns out like this! 🌊😉 We ended up walking and swimming instead. 😄 Overall, everything remains beautiful, especially the roads lined with palm trees, mountains, and jungles. 😍😍😍 »

« White beach at Boracay. The sand is excellent)) The weather is great too))) »

« These Filipino cuties create an unforgettable atmosphere on the island! :)))

Boracay is a small island paradise full of quaint little cottages and roosters in every yard. And not just one. They crow both day and night, morning and evening. Loud, persistent, and very energetic.

I’ve been to some quaint places, but our roosters are a bit more delicate. Every morning, neighbors’ roosters sing their hearts out near the houses, but we never saw any hens. Perhaps it’s because in the Philippines, they really love cockfighting and breed roosters for those purposes.

Their cries didn’t bother us; on the contrary, it was kind of sweet and quite funny when a rooster would crow so loudly that it almost choked. But for those who dislike nature's sounds, Boracay might not be the place for you. 😏 »

« The "Winter 2017" beach season has officially started! 🌊🏖️ I'm beginning to understand why it’s listed among the most stunning islands. Just 4 km of white sand beach and the water is simply perfect. 🥥 Not salty at all, it feels pleasantly warm! 😌 »

« Here I am, back from our magical getaway ✨ After five weeks, I can confidently say that I fell in love with Boracay ❤️ It’s incredibly cozy, welcoming, so chill, and absolutely stunning! During this time, we adapted to our usual life, our routine; we settled into the island vibe and just enjoyed ourselves. I’ve long dreamed of living in Bali for at least a month, not as a tourist in a hotel, but truly soaking in the island's lifestyle without any rush. But after my first trip to Boracay, I realized where I wanted to stay )) Overall, I will definitely miss it 💖 »

« With time, you certainly get used to the island, but this is not our island. We liked Sri Lanka more :) »

« Walking along the Boracay beach is simply amazing, the sea is always beautiful. Especially if you're not a fan of wind and prefer calm spots 😄, sometimes you just want to stroll along the beach without any breeze. I absolutely love Boracay; it's like being at a resort where everything is comfortable and convenient 😊, though it can get hot. »

« Boracay is famous for its stunning sunsets and sunrises, and it's no wonder that as it approaches 6 PM, the locals gather on the beach! Unforgettable experiences! 🌅✨ »

« Philippines - made up of over 7,000 islands located in the Pacific Ocean between Indonesia and Taiwan. Right now, it's autumn according to their calendar, and it'll last until March. It's a lovely autumn. 🍂 »

« A little piece of paradise on my feed... this place haunts my dreams at night, and I reminisce about it over good wine. I know I’ll return. The Philippines, Boracay. »

« People, sunsets, the sea, ships, and the evening refreshing breeze - that's how my evening goes on Boracay. I really enjoy the climate here - it’s hot during the day, perfect for swimming and sunbathing, but in the evening it cools down nicely with a refreshing breeze, making it super comfortable for strolls and relaxation on the beach. 🌅🌊✨ »
