Lamai Beach (หาดละไม)
Lamai Beach (หาดละไม) stretches along the southeastern coast of Koh Samui, just south of Chaweng Beach. Historically, it was a quiet fishing village, which has now evolved into a vibrant destination known for its clear waters and relaxed atmosphere. Spanning roughly 4 kilometers, the beach is a hotspot for sunbathing and water sports, including snorkeling and kayaking. The best time to enjoy Lamai Beach is during the dry season from December to February, when conditions are ideal for outdoor activities. Visitors can explore local markets, savor fresh seafood at beachfront restaurants, or take in the nearby Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, which are famous geological formations.
