« INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT VIETNAM 🇻🇳
Part 3
1. Pho is one of the most popular dishes in Vietnam. This is a soup with rice noodles and usually beef, although it can also be made with chicken or fish. Pho is served in practically every café and restaurant, and there’s even a chain called PHO24. People eat it in Vietnam with chopsticks, preferably for breakfast.
2. In Vietnam, very few people own cars. If a Vietnamese person wants to buy a car, they have to pay a 100% tax upon purchase, and then pay an annual tax of 20% of the car's value. In total, owning a car in Vietnam can cost as much as three cars in other countries, and over five years, the annual tax can add up to the cost of a fourth car. As you can see, owning a car is something only very wealthy Vietnamese can afford, but there’s always the option to hop on a scooter!
3. It’s hard to find regular cream for the face in stores; they only have whitening products. In Vietnam, it is considered prestigious to have light skin. Tanned skin is often associated with hard physical labor and lower social status. Women, especially, tend to prioritize staying indoors and covering up all year round to avoid the sun.
4. Vietnamese people can be very superstitious. Here are some common beliefs:
– If you see a woman on the street early in the morning, it’s considered an unlucky day (women are not counted)
– Seeing a funeral procession is considered bad luck
– It's frowned upon to take photos of a funeral, as it's believed that the deceased will haunt you
– If you’re crossing paths with someone, it’s said that the person will die
– If a black cat crosses your path, that person will rise
– May is considered an unlucky month for purchases
5. Wi-Fi passwords in Vietnam are not all that sophisticated. Almost everywhere you can find combinations like "12345678," "88888888" (where eight is considered a lucky number), or simply the name of the café or hotel in a blend of lowercase and uppercase letters. »
« For everyone who will be in Vietnam, I highly recommend visiting Vinpearl. It's a wonderful place with attractions, an aquarium, and so much more! 🌊🎢🐠 »
« How I love Asia!
Delicious,
Vibrant,
Juicy,

« Hello! This place is a paradise of contrasts. The weather is either bright sunshine or a refreshing breeze. The beauty all around, the palm trees 🌴, the sea, the colorful houses 🏠, and the landscapes with the mountains of trash contrasting with both modern and rustic structures really leave an impression.
In our quiet little neighborhood, where we live, it's definitely more peaceful 😌 compared to the bustling center. The calm sea with its gentle waves and soft white sand 🏖️ makes it even more inviting. We spent 2 days here, but it feels like we've been enjoying this little getaway for over a week! We’re just soaking it all in, living life to the fullest, with activities planned at different hours 🏃♀️🤗 and even more adventures ahead with various excursions ☀️. »
« Our journey through sunny Vietnam continues ☀️. Today we visited a Buddhist temple, and I just love this experience 😍. And just look how beautiful and peaceful it is here 🥰. »
« We decided before our trip to visit those places we enjoyed, and today we went to the Po Nagar Towers. We were lucky, there were few tourists, and we managed to enjoy this beautiful place. 🌸 »
« I visited the towers of Panagia. It's a stunning complex, built in 741, consisting of four towers (it originally had six). The largest tower is dedicated to the goddess Panagia; if you gaze long enough into its ceiling, you might start to feel a little dizzy. The dome is beautifully painted, showcasing a cosmic analogy of the universe. This is truly mesmerizing. 🌌 This tower invites contemplation of well-being and family health.
The second tower is dedicated to a male figure (one of the 97!) 🌌 This encourages thoughts of children, with two offerings available (you can choose a female option for a girl or a male option for a boy). The third tower honors the god Ganesha, as local guides say it relates to wisdom and well-being. 🌌 There are wishes for resolving personal problems associated with it. The fourth tower is dedicated to the god Shiva, the deity of destruction and creation. 🌌 It embodies all materiality.
This complex is a must-see—it's essential to enter each tower without shoes and preferably in light clothing. 🥰 The entrance fee is usually around $5. It’s gorgeous and calming! I'll share some pictures later! »
« We visited the popular restaurant Grill Garden, and it's such an interesting concept! You can choose an unlimited amount of seafood and grill it yourself right at your table. It's a fun experience and the price is around $40 per person. We really enjoyed it! 😊 »
« We spent a lovely day at an amusement park that connects to a beautiful island. It's got everything: attractions, arcade games, a lazy river, dolphins, an aquarium, colorful birds, a petting zoo, a 200-meter observation wheel, an aquarium, a beach, and so much more. We managed to do all of this in just one day - what a blast! 🎢🌊🐬 »
« Clear, transparent sea...👣. Tiny, fluffy, red sand...🐚. Bright, hot sun...🌞. Fruits... Mmmmmm...🍓. A year has passed, and I'm still dreaming about that place...❤️❤️❤️❤️. I want to go back to Nha Trang🏖🏖🏖))). »
« Bashni Po Nagar, one of the remarkable attractions in Vietnam, has a history that stretches back to the 8th century. The complex is still an active Buddhist temple and is often referred to as the "women's" temple. To really experience it, visitors should make the trip and immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of this place. 😊 »
« What to drink in Vietnam?
It's really not a question.
You climb up the palm,
Grab a coconut. 🥥 »
« We visited a Degustation of Vietnamese tea and coffee! ☕️ We tried the sampler pack! My absolute favorite was "Kuli," very soft with a hint of spice. 😋 We also tasted the farmer's Luva, which had an interesting flavor. 😊 Vietnam is the second-largest country in the world for coffee production, after Brazil, and I must say, the quality is simply outstanding! We didn't spare on the coffee; we'll be enjoying it at home in Siberia. ☕️😋 In the evening, we tried the traditional Vietnamese iced coffee, and oh my, it was just heavenly! 😍 I highly recommend everyone to give it a try! »
« Being in Nizhny Novgorod and not visiting Vimpelr would be a huge miss! 😄😄 The ticket price is pretty much like 5 days of my living expenses here... oh, I totally forgot that I'm living way too cheaply here! 😅😂😂 »
« Nha Trang is amazing on a Sunday. In the morning, locals head out for a beach recharge at sunrise - feeling fresh and energized to meet the new day. Bravo to them! And if you're in the mood for a sunset chill, you need to head to the neighboring island - Vinpearl. It's a magical island filled with entertainment and stunning views 😍. There might have been some reservations, but they handled everything just right and made sure it was absolutely enjoyable!! 😃 »
« Local Gorky Park 👌🏻
I'll be honest, I really like it here more and more 😄 »
« Everything is possible, you just need to be ready for it... 😄🙌
The weather in Long Son Island is great, you can easily get there by taxi or public transport. 🚖 »
« To my great surprise, I really enjoyed Vietnam, everything is wonderful 🙂 There’s no dirt like in Thailand. The sea is clean, the food is excellent, and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy! »

« The longest cable car over the sea, connecting Vinpearl Island with the mainland. The views are breathtaking! 🌊✨ »
« Today we climbed, crawled, and jumped over large rocks. We visited the Baho waterfalls, and unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. The nature is truly beautiful, but it was so dirty that it was almost painful to look at. :( »
« Continuing to relax and admire the beauty of Nha Trang. »
« View from Vinpearl in Nha Trang 🌇 🌆 »
« Strolling a bit further from the beach, I started to like the city. Beautiful temples, tidy streets. Overall, it's interesting where there are no tourists. »
