Cavo Greco
Cavo Greco, situated on the eastern coast of Cyprus near the popular resort town of Ayia Napa, is renowned for its rugged cliffs and picturesque coastal views. This area gets its name from the nearby Greco family, who are said to have once navigated the waters and caves here. Covering around 385 hectares, Cavo Greco is a national park that offers visitors a unique blend of natural beauty, with great opportunities for hiking, diving, and exploring marine caves. Open year-round, but particularly lively during the warm months of June to September, the park attracts both locals and tourists. Visitors can enjoy activities such as snorkeling to see a variety of marine life, including around 200 species of fish, or hiking along the scenic trails that lead to stunning lookout points.
