« The main attraction in Marseille is the Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica. It was built in the mid-19th century on a high hill where a church existed as far back as the 13th century. The top of the bell tower is adorned with an 11-meter gilded statue of the Virgin Mary with the child. Locals affectionately refer to her as La Donna Mere. »

« Have you all read Dumas?☝ The book The Count of Monte Cristo? There's a tour from Marseille to the Château d'If, where Edmond Dantès was held. »

« The view of old Marseille from the small bars and restaurants along the Old Port promenade is simply delightful. It's a favorite spot for enjoying a cup of coffee and having a chat with friends. There's also another wonderful attraction—the ferry across the harbor. One could say that this mode of transportation is quite popular, even though the journey lasts just two minutes! :) »
