« We climbed up the Duomo today, the tallest building in the city, which is actually a complex of buildings: a church, a cathedral, and some other stuff)) By the end of our trip, we were exhausted from all the sights)))))) Plus, we got stuck in a traffic jam in the dark, cold, narrow tower corridor for about half an hour... We almost had a heart attack)) »

« Another landmark in Florence is the "Il Porcellino" fountain. It translates to "little pig," but in reality, it's a bronze wild boar. Located in the city center, near the market where leather goods are sold today. The guide mentioned that this market is also called the Straw Market because it used to sell straw, but I think it makes more sense that it sold meat instead—otherwise, why would they have placed a statue of a boar there? 😄 »

« The Old Bridge in Florence is a must-visit for all jewelry lovers. »

« The view from the dome of the Florence Duomo is spectacular. You can see the Bargello Tower, Santa Croce, the San Miniato monastery, Piazzale Michelangelo, and other, less prominent sights. 😊 »

« Visiting Florence and not seeing the statue of David is just impossible! Make sure to stop by Piazza della Signoria to admire this famous masterpiece - the embodiment of masculine beauty from the Renaissance era, a magnificent creation by Michelangelo! The original is housed in the Galleria dell'Accademia. »

« My leisurely day in Florence, Italy. A beautiful, quiet city with plenty of greenery. Lovely parks. And the main attraction, the Ponte Vecchio. I lived just a few steps away, only three houses down. 😊🌳 »
