The Kaunas IX Fort, located 102 km away, is a site renowned not just in Lithuania but well beyond its borders. I highly recommend visiting this fortress and its memorial complex. Start with the fortress museum; after exploring the exhibits, head to the fort itself. It can be a bit eerie, but it's incredibly fascinating. »
