« Tramway – it's a must-do experience in Lisbon. Riding it is essential! The waiting time for departures is around 10-15 minutes minimum. The journey in one direction takes just 2-3 minutes. The cost is around €4 per person, including children and seniors. So, one ride is enough to truly soak in the whole vibe of the tram experience in Lisbon. 😊✨ »

« Now about sardines. Sardines are fish, just look at what a fairy tale they made from PROSTO canned fish! The concept is packaging with different years on the label, no indication of the origin, just the year... You can buy it as a souvenir, maybe for someone's birthday. 7 euros per can. »

« Where's the money, Zin? Or what's up in Portugal? I won't go into the extremes here; let’s just look at the main expenses in the “average by bullseye.”
🏖️ Accommodation: a hostel bed costs around €22, while a hotel room is about €90. During the season, prices increase, especially in August. Book ahead; Portugal is really popular right now, and booking a place last minute can be tricky.
🍽️ Food: A coffee+pastry combo is about €3. A more substantial breakfast will set you back around €8. On average, a meal in a restaurant will cost €16, and a glass of wine is about €3. Espresso coffee is €1.
🛒 Grocery stores: water is about €0.5, wine is €2. Seasonal fruits range from €1-3, chicken is €2, beef is €9, fish is €6, and seafood products are €9.
🚖 Taxis: From the airport to the center of Lisbon, it shouldn't cost more than €16, but if you take more luggage, they might increase the fare. Uber works, making it easier for tourists to get around.
🚗 Car rental: in the off-season, a small car is around €22, while in the season it can go up to €90.
⛽ Gasoline on average is about €1.8, and don't forget that there are toll roads. And crossing the bridge toward Lisbon is also charged.
🎟️ Lottery tickets start from €1 and it's a thing here; locals love their luck and don’t miss out on a chance to scratch off a ticket.

« Oceanarium in Lisbon 🐬
I felt like a kid - it's truly impressive! 🤩 The healthy circular aquarium on two levels is something else 😍 Every time, I felt like shouting "Look at that!" when a cute little fish swam by. I could sit there for hours, just watching the rays glide, the colorful fish and the many different sea creatures 🐠
Well, that's it - I'm totally obsessed 🤣 I know there are some cool fish there, like the jellyfish 🐙, the cute little octopus 🦑, and those scary crabs, but I could spend forever admiring them ❤️
The only downside is there isn't an aquarium above the main tank (like a tunnel), but experiencing it made it all worthwhile! ❤️
The entrance fee is €16 for the main hall or €20 for the main hall plus the additional hall.
P.S. Buy the €16 ticket, that extra hall is tiny, and you'll see the regular aquariums there - nothing special to see 🙈 »

« Medieval Mavrovo Castle 🏰
There’s hardly anything left of the castle itself, but it’s worth visiting for the chance to stroll along the thousand-year-old stone wall and catch breathtaking views of the surrounding nature in Mavrovo and Penu 🌳
The castle and the forest around it are protected by UNESCO 👌🏿
🚍 You can get there on the same 434 bus from Sintra, and if you have some time on your hands - there are a couple of hiking routes from the nearby village.
💵 The entrance fee is €8. »
@prioraman
« Avia tickets - $136 per ticket. Prozhivanie - €221 per MasterCard. Pashtesh and coffee for myself and my wife - €6 per MasterCard. Escape to sunny Portugal from the cold winter - priceless. And you say, Sochi? 😊 »

« How to not get lost while traveling? The answer is simple - just don’t forget to use the transport! 😂😂 Let me share the current prices for transportation in Lisbon.

A 24-hour pass for all transport is €6.30, plus you’ll need to buy the card itself for €0.50. A convenient option for those who move around a lot on public transport!

A single metro ride costs €1.30 and is valid for one hour from the moment of validation. The tram ride 28 costs €2.90 for one direction! »
@multik_pultik
« Talking about Portugal with a sense of emotion, just a little nostalgia. Please, it’s definitely needed, because it’s overwhelming, and a million moments come to mind 😩.

What scares you the most while traveling? Flights? Difficulty with translation? Or maybe you’re afraid of getting lost in an unknown city? Personally, my biggest fear is public transportation. Specifically, all those vending machines, cards, etc. 😩 But it turns out it’s not as scary as it seems. Around Lisbon Airport, there’s a metro station, so you can immediately immerse yourself in the city’s rhythm. You need to buy a card for 50 cents, which you can then top up. Figuring it out is easy; you just need to switch to English 😏.

The cost of a single ride is €1.50. There’s also a day pass for €7.50, but we rarely used public transport, mostly exploring on foot 🤗, so it wasn’t worth buying it.

Is there an unusual souvenir I have in my hand? 😜 I must say, it's absolutely priceless, as there’s a gift involved 😏😉. »
@svetashead
« On a day like today, the best companion is a cheerful raincoat for about $5. Wishing everyone sunshine and great vibes! 🌧️☀️😊 »

« This tram for lazy locals in Lisbon costs €3.60 and travels straight for about 500 meters - only up or down the hill. Basically, it's an elevator. »
@pastila_klukvina
« For a metro ticket costing 6 euros, you can skip the 5 euros for the elevator ride. Besides the observation deck at the top, the elevator actually takes people up because there's a height difference of about 30 meters here. »
@this_is_ilya
« For 4 euros, you can climb up to the terrace, where people hide from the sun under the shade of the dome. »
@anton_bf
« In Lisbon, we actively used the Lisbon Card. It costs €35 for two days, and in my opinion, it pays for itself. The price includes access to a bunch of museums, all transportation, and some discounts on tourist attractions. For instance, a ride on the historic tram costs €3, and with this card, you can ride as much as you want. 😊 »
@anedelyaeva
« The most convenient and accessible transport in Lisbon is the metro. You can purchase transit cards at any station. I recommend getting the Zapping card, which can be used on all public transportation. You can also use it to pay for trains and ferries. The cost of a metro ride is €1.50. There are only 4 lines, and the map is very simple and easy to understand. »
@anedelyaeva
« Trams are a very common mode of transportation in Lisbon. You can pay for your ride using a transportation card or cash. The cost of a trip is €3.00 now. It's not the cheapest option, but this experience is definitely worth it. Most of the trams are old, with wooden interiors that give them a unique charm. They creak as they move and shake a lot on the sharp turns. The trams are small, and there's no driver's cabin, so you can stand next to the operator and watch them skillfully navigate this marvel. The routes mostly wind through very narrow, twisty streets. If you stick your hand out the window, you can almost touch the walls of the buildings. The most popular routes are 28, which takes you through the old part of the city, and 15, along the waterfront. »
@anedelyaeva
« In Portugal, there are several types of parking options. You have free and paid parking. Paid parking is divided into different tariff zones. The closer you are to the city center or a historical or tourist spot, the higher the rate. It's important to pay attention to the signs. Payment can be made at machines, and the receipt should be placed under the windshield. Inspectors walk the streets and hand out tickets to cars without a receipt. The fine is about 30 euros. They might even put a wheel lock on your car. By the way, from 7 PM to 9 AM, all parking becomes free. »
@igornedelyaev
« We specifically chose to stay in the old quarter, where we’ll be spending our nights until the end of our trip.

By the way, we arrived late yesterday and didn't overthink it - we took a taxi. The ride from the airport to the hotel cost us €21. About 7 km.

In the photo, you can see the view from the window. It's now 8:40 AM. We’re off to find some breakfast! 🍽️ »
@szaburanny
« The Santa Justa Lift has been elevating visitors to its 32-meter tower since 1902, and a ride costs 5 euros. There's also a free alternative - the 4-story H&M store with its escalators✌️ »
@viktorylefigaro
« All the beaches in Portugal are free, and let me tell you, they are all incredibly clean! There are nice paths leading to them, and there's always free parking available (with proper pavement and markings), even for those tiny beaches tucked away in rocky crevices. Almost every beach has toilets with changing rooms! And not just any toilets, but clean ones equipped with soap, paper, and hand dryers! 🌊 Plus, you can usually find a little shop selling ice cream for about 1.5 - 2 euros. I'm not sure how they manage it all, but it seems like a perfect concept—win a tender for a shop or restaurant by the beach, commit to keeping the toilets, parking, and the whole beach area clean, and charge 5 euros for your ice cream if you want! 🍦 »
@red_fish_news
« Surprisingly, there are very few bookstores on the streets of Lisbon; they all seem to hide underground. Yes, almost every major station has a little literary nook like this. It's convenient and inexpensive. For instance, I picked up a book about Woody Allen for just 5 euros. Awesome! 📚✨ »
@elrit
« In Lisbon, there's a cultural heritage on wheels :) On one of the routes, number 28, you can ride and admire the historic center of Lisbon. Some people want to save $1.60 and hang on the steps :) »
@elenaelenaa1205
« Now we're paying 5 euros per person and Lisbon is all ours))) »
@mm__danon
« "Today it's not a boutique hotel, but a standard business hotel. Yet, it's quite atmospheric with a huge room that somehow cost me only 60 euros instead of the usual price of 210 euros." »
@lenka_kalashnikova
« The annoying tram costs €3.50 for just a couple hundred meters uphill, but we valiantly dragged 3 suitcases on foot. »
@za_lelky
« This is the Gloria Elevator in Lisbon. It takes tourists up and down a slope over a distance of 150 meters. The ticket price is around 6 euros now. »
@olenenok16
« For just 77 dollars a night, we rented a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony overlooking the rooftops and the river. We book all our accommodations on the go, just a day before check-in. In a couple of hours, we’re loading up the car and heading south to Portugal to find the country’s most beautiful beaches :) After that, we’ll say goodbye to Portugal and head to Seville, Spain. »
@tracktordrummer
« This is our luxury train from Porto to Lisbon, leaving at 1:30 AM and arriving at 6:00 AM, featuring sleeping compartments. Keep in mind that pillows are not included. This was the only train allowing bicycles, and the tickets cost €18 each. »
@zorkin
« Tram ride for €3.60. It goes for 200 meters. Tourists, boarding a 1930s vintage vehicle, can't hide their shock at the price. But I have a Lisbon card, making all my rides half the price. 😊 »
@adilya_k
« Carmo Convent, a Gothic temple that lost its roof after an earthquake, now stands as an open-air museum. It’s beautiful, of course, but the entrance fee of €3.50 just to "look around and take photos" doesn’t really add to its charm. I truly believe that places like this should be free to enter. 😊 »
@najda4ka
« Glória Funicular. 500 meters for €3.60 - the Portuguese know how to get around! 😄 »
@katrinpavlin
« In Lisbon, there are SO many expensive boutiques, and they're all close to my hotel on Avenida da Liberdade)))))) right next to the hotel is a huge store with pricey watches from various brands... the prices are pretty steep, with many individual watch boutiques for specific brands; lots of boutiques from world-famous designers... Michael Kors, MaxMara, and a high-end Italian brand for men's suits.... Overall, if you're looking to shop, there are plenty of options)))))) »
